Morgan Silver and Peace Dollars at Compass Auction January 18
A large numismatic collection will be made available for purchase at public auction on January 18, 2021 at 6pm ET. Auction is set to Include a considerable collection of Morgan Silver Dollars in tandem with jewelry and collectibles.
The sale will be conducted by Compass Auctions and Real Estate, a Chattanooga-based auction firm that offers auction services locally, regionally, and nationally.
Most notable in their next auction will be Morgan silver dollars and Peace dollars. Both coins have gained in popularity recently due to President Trump signing legislation for the 1921 Silver Dollar Coin Anniversary Act into law on January 5, 2021. 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Mint’s transition from the silver Morgan dollar from the Peace dollar.
Compass’ inventory of collectibles, numismatic lots, and vintage jewelry continues to grow. The January 18, 2021 event is poised to be another strong showing for Compass in their continued pursuit of providing the most accessible and trustworthy auction experience possible. Presented as an online only auction, Compass will be showing one of the largest collections of Morgan Silver Dollars in the South. Additionally, this event is set to include vintage pieces from the H. Stern Rainbow Collection.
